The Evolution of Canine Dental Care
If you’ve tried powders, brushes, or sprays—this is the upgrade you’ve been awaiting.
How It Works
Blue Light Suppresses Pathogenic Microbes
430-nanometer blue light targets the light-sensitive pathogenic germs associated with common dental problems such as gum disease, bad breath, and tooth decay.
These include:
F. NUCLEATUM
S. MUTANS
P. GINGIVALIS

Joseph Menicucci, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
“Oral health is a critical yet often overlooked aspect of a dog’s overall well-being. Research shows that by age three, 90% of dogs develop periodontal disease, which can have systemic effects. The use of targeted wavelengths of visible light has been scientifically shown to help reduce harmful oral bacteria, supporting a balanced microbiome. This device provides a science-backed approach to daily dental care, promoting both fresh breath and long-term health.”
Game-changing. Life-changing.
Shift to the bright side.

Blue Light Technology
430-nanometer blue light targets the strains of bacteria that cause harm at their source—the hidden layer where gum tissue damage, tooth decay, and bad breath begin.
By disrupting bacterial growth and breaking down stubborn biofilms, this wavelength helps restore balance to the mouth’s natural ecosystem—addressing the cause, not just the symptoms, of poor oral health.
Red Light Therapy
660-nanometer red light therapy has been proven by NASA scientists to promote wound healing. Now, its cell-renewing powers are used in many advanced applications. Medical professionals are using red light to:
- Reduce teeth sensitivity
- Heal inflammation
- Increase blood circulation
- Stimulate the growth of gum tissue and bone
Oral Health: A Gateway to Overall Health
It took years of research and development to discover the ideal convergence of blue and red light wavelengths. Now it's possible to selectively target the bad bacteria, so beneficial bacteria survive and thrive.
The connection between oral health and systemic diseases is increasingly recognized in medical and dental research.

What additional fine features are included?
What additional fine features are included?
Supernova is non-toxic and slobber-proof with a durable, recyclable thermoplastic resin exterior that is 3.5 inches in diameter. Each bounce activates a 6-minute light session that can be used day or night.
How does blue light kill germs that cause bad breath?
How does blue light kill germs that cause bad breath?
Studies demonstrate that particular wavelengths of blue light (430 nanometers) have the power to destroy the specific bacteria that produce volatile sulfur compounds, or VSCs. VSCs are considered the root cause of bad breath, so using the Supernova regularly can help eliminate the very source of the problem. As an added benefit, reducing the undesirable bacteria allows the beneficial bacteria to thrive, fostering a balanced oral microbiome.
What benefits does red light provide?
What benefits does red light provide?
Red light (660 nanometers) has been shown to stimulate circulation and reduce inflammation in the body, which is particularly beneficial for delicate gum tissue, the very foundation of healthy teeth.

Light therapy isn’t new; It's even available in toothbrushes.
The therapeutic effects of red and blue light have been known and used in dental offices for decades. We’ve simply harnessed them into an upgraded dog ball that benefits your pup.
Safe & natural light travels easily to areas of the mouth even a toothbrush cannot reach - such as between teeth and under the gumline. Here it interrupts the formation of plaque and tartar.
It also breaks up not-so-friendly germ accumulation on the tongue. You will notice much better breath after just a few play sessions.
Why is interactive play important with the Supernova?
Why is interactive play important with the Supernova?
We designed this ball with the intention of strengthening the bond between you and your pup. Keep in mind that the ball contains batteries and needs to be stored safely between supervised sessions. We are all about playing responsibly as Supernova delivers the wonders of light.
How many minutes per day are necessary to see results?
How many minutes per day are necessary to see results?
We recommend at least one session per day of a few minutes. We added a 6-timer to encourage longer play, but there is no limit to how many times per day you can engage in interactive play. If your dog loses interest or gets distracted, take a break and store safely. If your dog wants to continue playing, enjoy the health boost you are giving.
How does phototherapy promote a balanced oral microbiome?
How does phototherapy promote a balanced oral microbiome?
The mouth is considered the gateway to the body, as more and more studies are proving. It’s extremely important to keep the oral microbiome balanced for overall health and well-being. Harmful microbes contain an iron-based porphyrin pigment, which is metabolized from blood. These harmful bacteria are sensitive to blue light, whereas harmless and benevolent bacteria remain unaffected.

Tell me more about Stellar Sauce.
Using Stellar Sauce is optional. It's included for dogs that need extra enticement to mouth and lick the ball, allowing the light to easily go to work cleaning up all areas of the mouth. Stellar Sauce is sugar-free, gluten-free, and alcohol-free. It's made with the highest quality ingredients.
How do I clean my Supernova?
How do I clean my Supernova?
It's best to wipe the Supernova clean with a warm, damp cloth after use. While it is "slobber-proof", it's not fully waterproof, so avoid submerging it in water. For a deep cleaning, remove the inner compartment first. The outer ball can be sanitized in a dishwasher.
How long does the charge last?
How long does the charge last?
It depends on frequency and length of use. The batteries included provide at least 20 hours of light in total. The lights shut off automatically after 6 minutes of inactivity. If the batteries run out, simply unscrew the inner compartment and replace the batteries with 2032 lithium cell batteries.
